Completed the recording of my new solo record- a Song-Cycle, Element 115 (Uup). The gorgeous artwork was just completed by Tim Silbaugh.
METTLE plays the song cycle live in Seattle. I am heading to Europe in August / September.

I curated (and played guitar in) a set of music of incredibly talented local female musicians at the big blow-out Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power at EMP (Experience Music Project). Kim Virant, Fiia McGann, Stephanie Emery, Laura Vanderpool, Faith Stankevich. Also on the bill, the EMP All-Star Band: Kathy Valentine, Patty Schemel, Donita Sparks, Kim Shattuck, and Annabella Lwin, plus guests Star Anna, Shelby Earl, and Choklate.
APRIL 2013
Presented an Ignite Talk at EMP Pop Conference about These Streets. Instead of a traditional talk of 5 minutes and 20 slides, I wrote 20 songs- one for each slide and played them live.
FEBRUARY - MARCH 2013
THESE STREETS played to over 5,000 people in 12 shows. We had packed houses every night! Such a ride! I am so grateful for all of it. Working with such a fantastic team of dedicated and passionate people was a highlight of my life. Please visit Thesestreets.org for more information.
THESE STREETS is heading to the finish line. We have our last workshop this month. We finish writing the play and then head into rehearsals on January 5th. On the 11th I will be presenting a workshop on body language and rhythm for the Northwest Chapter of the Dalcroze Society of America, at the University of Washington. Please come. Details are here:

Also Sarah and I are planning our fundraiser concert and auction at ACT, with all new music by We Are Golden. The date is June 1st. Mark your calendars! Funds will be put toward the production of our play/rock musical called THESE STREETS to go up at ACT next year.
I am composing music for Romeo & Juliet for Cornish College of the Arts. It's a great play to be doing now, as we witness our own tensions nationally and globally, and the mistakes that our intolerance and righteousness can create; and in the shadows of how much we all share.
We Are Golden (Sarah Rudinoff and myself) were awarded a 4Culture Grant to create a musical theater piece with a civic component. We are workshopping this work-in-progress at ACT Theater this summer, 2011 with plans for a final production in the Fall of 2012.
